It’s important to remember that there is no “right” or “wrong” way to affirm yourself. There are no set rules or regulations and we encourage you to do what feels right. It is vital, however, to always be intentional and build a regimen around their use. A card can be pulled once daily as a part of your morning routine, several times daily as a gentle reminder, or once a week as part of your self-care ritual. Below are a few suggestions on how to utilize the deck if you are unsure on where to begin.
Think about your intentions with the shuffled deck faced down in your hands. Select a card blindly and read it aloud. What does this affirmation mean to you? What feelings and actions would you like to take from it? What message is being conveyed to you?
Meditate with the affirmation repeating in your head. Utilize the affirmation as a journaling prompt. Keep the card with you throughout the day and be conscious of small signs or synchronicities. Pull a card for a loved one who you feel may need it. The uses are boundless! Remember, the light is always within you.
